I've had a number of people ask "What can I pick up as a starter task to start contributing".
I've started using lable "StarterTask" (and leaving unassigned) ideas for starter tasks. You can see them on a filter here: https://jira.fd.io/issues/?filter=11008 Please contribute Jiras for 'StarterTasks' you might have in mind in Jira, adding label 'StarterTask' to them and leave them unassigned and then we will have a filter of tasks folks can pick up.
