Ed Ed, If I might speculate, it isn't anything that the VPP Builds even checks. To catch this, you have to build VPP to packages, take those packages, install them on a machine somewhere, now build a C API based application that uses those installed include files and libraries. That's what I do; I don't think you guys do that anywhere. HTH, jdl
