You can also use the command-line arg "... dpdk { ... poll-sleep <delay-in-us> 
... } ..." to reduce CPU utilization at low vector rates.

I have some preliminary code which allows DPDK drivers to work in interrupt 
mode. 
Unfortunately I hit some issues with interrupt support in DPDK so I’m not sure 
of that stuff is ready for prime time.
