Does the "make pkg-rpm" only recognize the committed code at stable branch?

But it seems to be same with origin with installing the pkg-rpm from "make pkg-rpm ". Does it need some operation else for "make pkg-rpm"? centos7.5 + vpp-stable-1804 1、make build && make run 2、make pkg-rpm Thanks! [email protected]
