There is a DPDK driver for Atheros 10K NICs (the QCA986x/988x is Ath 10k).

VPP would also need to know how to configure and monitor this NIC. Seems like a lot of work for minimal gains, so Dave’ suggestion of bridging into a tap-v2 interface is likely to provide more immediate results. As for performance of same, anyone looking for > circa 600Mbps with wireless is smoking something interesting. Pretty sure tap-v2 can pass that.
