Hi, there was an attempt at this some time ago, but the patch was never merged and the infra has changed a lot in meanwhile so I don't think it's worth it to rebase it. The patch was to run every existing test in both single and multi worker scenarios.
You could probably extend the concept of extra configuration options - two currently exist - extra_vpp_punt_config and extra_vpp_plugin_config, both can be found in framework.py and introduce a per-test option to configure it with multiple workers as a poor man's hack solution ...
