The first draft of 20.09 release notes is available for your review:

The “usual” content was prepared in a fully automated fashion using
https://github.com/ayourtch/vpp-relops/blob/master/make-relnotes.pl and
https://github.com/ayourtch/vpp-relops/blob/master/relnote-sync.pl to
manipulate the RELEASE.md in a predictable manner.
The listed features are, same as in the previous few releases, made off the
one-liners from the commit messages of commits with “Type: feature”.
There is new content, namely “newly deprecated messages” and “in-progress
messages” that for now involved a little bit of copy paste of the output of
https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/28793 with the modified crcchecker run against
the v20.09-rc0 tag on stable/2009 branch, and which I plan to fully automate
for 21.01.
If you have additions or corrections, feel free to push your edits to change
28794 directly.
I am looking forward to your feedback on this for two weeks from now - that is,
until the 25th September.
