Hello, -StrongSwan is purely Control Plane and doesn't implement IPSec. -VPP supports IPSec and IKEv2 but has less features than StrongSwan when it comes to control plan. VPP IPSec implementation is super fast and would lead to better performance than StrongSwan + Linux. Jerome
