Hello all, this is to let you know that the RC1 milestone for VPP 21.01 is now complete, the artifacts are available at http://packagecloud.io/fdio/2101 - please let me know if you have any issues installing.
stable/2101 branch is now ready for the bugfixes in preparation for RC2 milestone - which for this release is 4 (four) weeks from now - on the 13th of January 2021 (Please see the release plan at [0]). Per the usual process - please commit the fixes to master and then cherry-pick to stable/2101, so as to ensure none of the fixes is forgotten for the future releases. For externally found issues and communications related to the fixes, feel free to use Jira. I would like to say special thanks to Dave Wallace to for his help, which allowed us to fix yet another day-1 quirk in the release process. Also, thanks to Damjan Marion for the very nice optimization suggestion - it avoids us to bypass "master is closed for commits" state altogether.
