Hi Vikas,
VPP releases on a 4 month cycle (Feb, June, October), so I would
anticipate it being included in the 26.06 release. More information on
branch support can be found in the vpp documentation:

Aside on terminology:
The gerrit change you site in your follow-up email is not exactly a
'commit' based on the terminology in the Gerrit Code Review process, as
it is still under review and has not been merged. In the Gerrit Code
Review process, these are called 'gerrit change' and individual uploads
to a specific gerrit change is called a patch. A commit is a generally
understood to be the latest patch in a gerrit change which has been
merged to a branch. If the branch is not specified, it is assumed to be
the main branch, called 'master' in the vpp repo.
