The FD.io TSC has had some inquiries from employers asking to post
employment opportunities to FD.io project mailing lists. After some
discussion, the TSC has approved the creation of a new group/mailing
list ([email protected]) dedicated solely for this purpose.
Those wishing to post employment opportunities must use an email address
associated with a Linux Foundation ID and must be subscribed to the
group. As a safety measure to prevent spam, the first post from each
person will be moderated; subsequent posts from that person will not be
moderated.
This group is intended to exclusively contain solicitations from
employers. It should be consumed via the web interface
(https://lists.fd.io/g/jobs/topics) or by subscribing to the group.
Replies to posts with inquiries to the poster will be removed. Please
contact the poster directly via email or per the contact information
included in the post.
Please read the group description on the [email protected] home page
(https://lists.fd.io/g/jobs) prior to posting. I have included it below
for your convenience.

This group is for employers to post information about current, open
employment opportunities that specifically require expertise in FD.io
projects. You must be subscribed to the group in order for your posts to
be sent to the mailing list. Those interested in pursuing posted
opportunities should contact the submitter directly. Please do not post
follow up inquiries to the group.
NOTE: THIS IS THE ONLY FD.IO GROUP WHICH ALLOWS POSTING OF EMPLOYMENT
OPPORTUNITIES. ANYONE POSTING JOB OPENINGS OR RECRUITING ON ANY OTHER
FD.IO GROUP/MAILING LIST WILL BE REMOVED FROM ALL FD.IO GROUPS.
The Subject line of each post or topic shall state the "<project>:
<type>, <role>, <location>", where
project: <FD.io project name>
type: full-time, part-time, contract etc
role: developer, tester, architect, technical leader, intern, etc.
location: remote, hybrid (<city/state/country>), <city/country>
For example,
VPP: full-time, developer, remote
CSIT: contract, tester, hybrid (San Jose/CA/USA)
VPP, CIMAN: part-time, intern tester, London/UK
All posts shall include a description of the employment opportunity
including the specific expertise with FD.io project(s) required for the
job -- generic or non-specific recruiting offerings are not allowed. The
employment opportunity must be for a specific requisition/position that
is available at the time (or soon thereafter) of the posting. When the
requisition is filled/closed, please reply to the thread indicating that
the opportunity is no longer available.
Please do not mislead or abuse FD.io community members with posts for
non-existent opportunities in an attempt to acquire a pool of candidates
to be shopped around to prospective employers.
