I posted a gerrit change https://gerrit.fd.io/r/c/vpp/+/46565
to enable checkstyle/fixstyle for arbitrary commits (i.e.,
not just HEAD).
Examples:
make checkstyle CHECKSTYLE_COMMIT=HEAD~3
make checkstyle CHECKSTYLE_COMMIT=<hash>
make fixstyle CHECKSTYLE_COMMIT=<hash>
