When a domain is created, the default is to bounce email back to the sender for any account that does not exist. We switched this from the postmaster about a year or two ago. Why bounce mails instead of sending them to the postmaster? Based on experience, the postmaster account will fill up with garbage emails and users don't pick up the emails from the postmaster account. You might want to rethink sending all non-matching email's to the postmaster account. Most people want to bounce them back. Ken Jones
