[Vserver] Not a real vserver question... :o)

Hello gang,   I would like to ask a question regarding VMware (I know this is completely out of context for the mailing list..so sorry to all who may get upset :o).   I installed Fedora on VMware and it is *damn* slow.   The machine running vmware is a Pentium 4 @1.7ghz with 1gb Ram (running win2k pro).   When I boot X-Windows (on fedora (which is the guest operating system)), it pops up my processor to 100%.   Even shell acess is pretty slow!   This doesn’t happen if I install �trustix for instance.   I don’t quite understand what the problem is.
