thanks for your Tipp, this works! I have installed libgd-dev for debian
using:
apt-get install libgd-dev
and all works fine ;) But in the make process of util-vserver-0.27 i get
this error:

Again the make process breaks and stops. Any ideas?

Hello Wolfang,
looks like your're missing the gd-lib headers. Try to use the gd
packages provided by your distribution instead of building GD from
source to save time ;-)
(rpmseek.com is very nice to find the right packages on .rpm and
even .deb based systems...)
