hi folks, i am trying to run vserver on one of our sun machines (Sun E450).
it has a "TI UltraSparc II (BlackBird)" CPU and throws the following errors when compiling a kernel with ctx patches(compiling without the patch applied works). btw i use vserver on my private webserver(intel) for 4 months now and am very happy with it :) "virtual hosting" has never been that easy :) .......snipidi...... <command line>: "__PTRDIFF_TYPE__" redefined <builtin>: this is the location of the previous definition CC arch/sparc64/kernel/isa.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/pci_common.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/pci_iommu.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/pci_psycho.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/pci_sabre.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/pci_schizo.o CC arch/sparc64/kernel/smp.o AS arch/sparc64/kernel/trampoline.o <command line>: warning: "__SIZE_TYPE__" redefined <builtin>: warning: this is the location of the previous definition <command line>: warning: "__PTRDIFF_TYPE__" redefined <builtin>: warning: this is the location of the previous definition AS arch/sparc64/kernel/sys32.o <command line>: warning: "__SIZE_TYPE__" redefined <builtin>: warning: this is the location of the previous definition <command line>: warning: "__PTRDIFF_TYPE__" redefined <builtin>: warning: this is the location of the previous definition CC arch/sparc64/kernel/sys_sparc32.o arch/sparc64/kernel/sys_sparc32.c: In function `do_execve32': arch/sparc64/kernel/sys_sparc32.c:1971: too few arguments to function `mm_alloc' make[2]: *** [arch/sparc64/kernel/sys_sparc32.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [arch/sparc64/kernel] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.3' make: *** [stamp-build] Error 2 ..........snap............... _______________________________________________ Vserver mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://list.linux-vserver.org/mailman/listinfo/vserver
