Hello, congratulations and many thanks for the vserver-project, I like it really. On my home-server I'm running a linux-2.4.23 with the vserver patch without any problems, but on my webserver I've found really strange things happend last night. Its an Athlon Duron System with 1800Mhz and 128MB of 266DDR RAM. Im running a vanilla linux-2.4.25 from kernel.org patched with the vserver-1.26 patch on a Debian woody System without any modifications. This morning I couldn't log in anymore via ssh, the apache didnt' answer to requests, but an portscan still shows port 80,22 as open. The technican can't even login local, he had to reset the machine hardly. Thats what I've found in the /var/log/kern.log

I've googled for it and found some threads with people, running a linux-2.4.25 and the grsecurity patches. http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=1vLar-6l7-19%40gated-at.bofh.it&rnum=1&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dbug%2Bvmscan.c:388%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26selm%3D1vLar-6l7-19%2540gated-at.bofh.it%26rnum%3D1 The error couldn't be reproduced with older kernel versions, Marcelo can't localize the problem until now neither.Right now, im compiling an 2.4.24 kernel and will give it a try. Is there anybody out there who could reproduce this error?
