I use them becaus eI had even more problems with the stable ones and in the FAQ there is a clear statement - for kernel 2.6 use the alpha ones...Hmmm, something to do with 'initstyle'
I'm guessing here, as I have avoided the alpha tools up to now.
I was unable to manage the "proc-security" thing with the old tools - so if you can give me a pointer I will try the old ones. On the other hand it now looks as it is working with the redhat script - this will do for the first tests....
