[Vserver] logging onto a vserver takes me to host's root

Hi vserver list,
I have a debian testing running the host.  I've set up 2 little baby 
vservers, that are functioning in every way they should, except when I 
log on through ssh, I always end up on the root of the mother. Makes no 
difference if I am a privileged or unprivileged vserver user.
Has anyone come across this problem?
