Is this a fakeinit problem, or a legacy config problem? I have the same

Switching to the new config file format works perfectly.

If interested, I've made a bash script that creates all the neccessary
files and symlinks.

That's an interessting aspect.
A script would be perfect. But if you could point me to some documentation about the new config format that would help. Yesterday I was looking for that, but most of the documentation seems to talk about the old config style.

The documentation that I know about is available at http://www-user.tu-chemnitz.de/~ensc/util-vserver/doc/conf/configuration.html. I don't know how current it is, but that is what I am using.

I have also attached the bash script that I am using. Note that it is _very_ rough. It Works For Me(tm). Hopefully it's self-explanitory. The $TYPE is just the name of the init-script that starts the particular vserver. The default init-scripts start 'default', I've created 'core', 'optional' and 'customer' on my systems.

HTH,
Darryl
