Hello, Just to say that I am using a vserver 1.26 on a 2.4.25 debian kernel for some time now. It was really nice to know that I was doing backup of my server very easily and that if needed I would be able to restart my server from any backup point in the time...
When you know it, it is good, when you experience it, it is even better. I had to relocate all my servers this WE because of renovations in our building. Windows server downtime, more than 1 hour. vserver, I don't know if somebody noticed the move. hot rsync stop the vserver cold rsync restart on the other box arping to announce So good :) Thanks a lot to all of you who helped me in setting up all that, for a first "real life" installation of a linux server, I do not regret at all the extra time of setting up this vserver system. And by the way, the system is rock solid. Best regards, Loc d'Anterroches _______________________________________________ Vserver mailing list [email protected] http://list.linux-vserver.org/mailman/listinfo/vserver
