So a mandrake user have now to: Download a new kernel from ftp://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ Patch the new kernel with: patch-2.6.10-vs1.9.4.diff from: http://www.13thfloor.at/vserver/d_rel26/v1.9.4/ Patch the kernel again with: vserver-mandrake.patch Debug the kernel And Install the util-vserver-0.30.203.tar Is that right ? Thanks Jean Christophe
Not exactly, MandrakeLinux user must download a 2.6.10 (vanillia) and patch it using the 1.9.4 version of vserver.
The patch I've sent is for the util-vservers (user space). You can patch the 0.30.204 by your hand or use the rpms I've upload in the contrib repository of Mandrakelinux.
I'm in discussion with MandrakeLinux to integrate it as a separate kernel, it will no more necassary to build its own kernel & patch it by hand :)
