Hi!

I'm having hassle running a telnet daemon within a vserver - it's
Debian, and when I try and run telnetd through inetd, I can telnet
locally within the vserver (i.e. telnet localhost), but I cannot
connect from outside of the veserver. Telnet is the only thing runnig
from inetd, but I suspect other services in inetd may suffer the same
problem?

Trying to run telnetd in debug mode (i.e. as it's own daemon, not through
inetd, I get a bomb out saying telnetd[10037]: getpeername: Socket operation
on non-socket, which might be a GRSec-ism, or a vserver-ism - I'm not sure.

Unfortunately we MUST offer telnet alongside SSH, so saying "don't use telnet"
isn't an option on this occasion.

Anyone else using a telnetd within a vserver successfully?

GW
