Hi Herbert,
> hmm, could you also add the results for dir (that is
what the {mysqld.sock,} would do ;)
drwxr-xr-x 2 smmsp root 4096 Jun 8 11:21
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/
srwxrwxrwx 1 smmsp ssh 0 Apr 15 2004
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
lsattr -d /var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/{mysqld.sock,}
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# lsattr -d
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
lsattr: Operation not supported While reading flags on
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
hmm, but general xattr support is present, I hope?
What do you mean by that?
lsxid -d /var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/{mysqld.sock,}
No such command.
well, a bunch of options here, either get recent tools
or download the vxid tool which does similar
http://vserver.13thfloor.at/Experimental/TOOLS/vxid-0.02.tar.bz2
get_iattr:: Invalid argument
xid= 0, flags=0x00000000, mask=0x00000000,
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock
get_iattr:: Invalid argument
xid= 0, flags=0x00000000, mask=0x00000000,
/var/lib/vservers/farepoint/var/run/mysqld/
simplest way is probably the testme.sh
http://vserver.13thfloor.at/Stuff/SCRIPT/testme.sh
