okay, please make sure that you compile the kernel
yourself and enable the VSERVER_DEBUG* options
in the .config, this will allow us to narrow down
the issue by some simple tests (2.0-rc4)

Now it works with a workaround:
- set 'nonamespace'
- 'vserver <vs> build'
- set 'namespace'
- 'vserver <vs> build' --force

I submitted a bug to Debian:
----snip----
Package: kernel-patch-vserver
Version: 1.9.5.3
Severity: important

'chattr' causes the error message 'Function not implemented', which makes it impossible to 'vserver xx build' without workaround (i.e. turning of 'namespace').
----snap----

It seems to have nothing to do with DRBD, but I will retest it.
As I understand the sources, 'chattr -t "$VDIR"' in 'vserver-build.functions' triggers the problem.
