consider two guests 'adjusting' the hardware clock according to their idea of time? would it make sense to have guests which differer a few seconds? would it make sense to have 50+ ntpds running, one on each guest? probably not, that is why wall time is not virtualized and has to be handled on the host (or in a guest with the required priviledges)
Hi Bertl, I forgot to tell - the ntp is running on the main host of course.... using "ntpdate" works but the ntpd is not adjusting the clock Oliver -- Diese Nachricht wurde digital unterschrieben oliwel's public key: http://www.oliwel.de/oliwel.crt Basiszertifikat: http://www.ldv.ei.tum.de/page72
