There are some dev nodes that are used by the driver, maybe those are
just missing. The files are /dev/nvidia0 and /dev/nvidiactl (maybe you
also got other nvidia* files).

I started the last thread about running nvidia within a vserver. I had
copied these nodes to the vserver
and can tell that this did not solve the problem.
As I wrote in the last thread, copying the nvidia node from the host to
normal video nodes in the vserver also did not the job.
