Hello,
I am trying to connet to a mail server on the real server but within
the vserver the Ip 127.0.0.1 seems to be mapped to the First Virtual
Interface.
yes, that is not unexpected ...
I am using the dummy device for a private network between the vservers
and nat for access to the internet but who kann i access the lo
interface off the real server ?
you will _automagically_ use the lo interface of the real
server when you conenct to 'local' IPs, as the host IP
or the IP of another vserver guest
btw, 'localhost' should be set to the first guest IP in
/etc/hosts to avoid confusion ...
Thank you for the Info,
for my server i will map localhost to the virtual ip of the main server
192.168.x.y
so i can access sendmail on localhost port 25.
