Hi, Been running qmail-send, qmail-pop3d and qmail-smtpd under daemontools inside a vserver and it works fine.
Init starts daemontools' svscan which in turns start the 3 qmail services under /services. My setup is mostly the same as the one described in Life With Qmail (http://www.lifewithqmail.org/). No special modification has been required to make it work in a vserver.
