It would be much better to get it > working properly instead of inventing workarounds. maybe it's related to the nfs changes in the kernel itself, not in the vserver patch. according to the changelog there have been a few changes from 2.4.19 to 2.4.20 - and i noticed some minor nfs problems over here after upgrading to 2.4.20 which are probably not vserver related. there also seem to be quite a few changes in the nfs stuff in the 2.4.21pre patches. maybe it's worth a try to patch the vserver stuff in the latest pre kernel and see if it's still there. unfortunately i don't have any spare time at the moment to try any of this and give better bugreports :-( Tom
