If its running in the context that can see everything - it is using the root server's /etc/passwd... Therefore cant see the vservers' /etc/passwds'....
It needs to run in each context bound to each ip, and not a single version grabbing 0.0.0.0 on the "see all" context... Let me know fi I have got the wrong end of the stick, Bill. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Christoph Kuhles" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Christoph Kuhles" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, February 08, 2003 5:07 PM Subject: Re[3]: [vserver] identd > Hi, > > Thursday, February 6, 2003, 3:46:42 PM, you wrote: > > >>> Has anyone here made experiences with running oidentd globally and still > >>> have it working within each vserver?
