Be careful and don't mix "restore" and "recover". A "restore" is the recreation of an archive that was previously "archived". A "recover" is the action of "undeleting" a previously "deleted" item. Recovers work great in the pin_handler branch. Only "restores" are problematic, since they mess up the timeline.
