I am trying to get rid of vss. Is there a way to do the conversion on
project base?
No, but there are workarounds:
1.) make a copy of your VSS database and destroy all other projects in
this copy !!!! Be carful that you destroy the data in the copy, not in
the original database
2.) perform a full conversion and then use the svndumpfilter to
include/exclude projects
Also I would like to know if I can convert the repository from a
defined revision, such as last 100 revisions?
This is also not directly supported, but I think you can use the
svndumpfilter again when loading the repository to filter out specific
revisions.
