I agree 100%.  Getting the data 90% of the way there automatically is a
big task.  Getting it there close to 100% takes about 100 times the
effort, plus, as is obvious, everyone has a different opinion about what
that last 10% should be like.

So, if it means anything, I think your approach to get it "mostly done"
automatically and then allow each individual to do the final cleanup and
arrangement is both efficient and wise! (Especially on a project where
you are donating your time...)
