Thanks for the swift reply Kenneth I had a look near where the error occurred and could not see anything that seemed amiss. As it was such a large project I decided to start small with a new VSS database with a single file that had a single change. I could not import this and got the error "Dump stream contains a malformed header (with no ':') at 'const'". I am concerned that I couldn't even import this small database into subversion and suggests that I am doing something fundamentally wrong. Could it be the version of VSS2SVN i am using or the version of Subversion itself i.e. 1.4?
