Thanks for the tip about emails. I'm using these URLs as a way to find out
how well different types of system handle them. I can't really test them out
on client sites, so I have to use my own so I can make recommendations based
on that. I didn't know about those email issues.

We've been meaning to get around to adding short URLs for
print/email/newsgroups etc. that 301 to the full URL. I'll have to test the
idea on my site first.
