Perhaps this filtered out more than you expected... maybe try importing the non-filtered file and/or use the --drop-empty-revs --renumber-revs parameters to svndumpfilter so it will get rid of the empty revisions and let you see more easily what's left.

Also, they've done quite a bit since alpha1. The nightly builds do a rather better job for me at least.
