I guess there are others looking for a GUI builder for python. I am a software engineer with C, C++, python, and tkinter experience. I have some knowledge of tcl/tk. Vtcl is nice and I have used it on a tcl/tk implementation of an application about a year ago. I would like to offer some of my time if I can help in an effort to move vtcl towards python/tkinter source generation. I have thought about a tk to tkinter translator but that might be more of a hassle than what it is worth. Really interested in developing just GUI. I can isolate the rest of the application code in other python classes. So I could keep regenerating the GUI without worrying about trashing any non GUI python source that I have added to the application Just run an application on the output of vtcl tcl/tk output to generate tkinter at least. Do you know of anyone else interested in pursuing such an effort? http://www.pythonware.com is selling a GUI builder called PythonWorks that generates python/tkinter and uitoolkit output but will cost some pretty hefty bucks, $390. I think there is a growing community of python developers that would really appreciate a nice GUI builder like vtcl that could help them rapidly generate applications. I know I enjoyed using it for tcl/tk application development. Scott
