Perhaps I should suggest either at installation or have some vtcl system
call that collects all these locations and/or the exiting tcl/tk extensions
which are usable in vtcl.

I know I didn't have all of the extensions listed.

I now see some of the extensions after I added the variables mentioned, but
I notice that it doesn't specify (with the text tips when you have a cursor
over it) or group them as tix or (insert generic extension name here)
components.
