The checkboxes indicate which options are saved.
So if you don't save an option, the next time you reload the
project, it will use the default value for that option.
I noticed the combobox problem too. Sometimes the arrow
disappears.

Thanks a lot! I'm using 1.5.1b3 with succes now.
I've just had to select a few checkbuttons in the attribute editor window
to make everything look the way it did before (mainly to correct some
fonts) (I
also had to do this for the checkbutton next to the variable for the
combobox,
otherwise the variable wasn't associated with the combobox any more)
I think I don't quite get what these checkbuttons do in the
Attribute-editor-window: if it isn't checked, does it mean it just takes
the
default?
I notice a much easier positioning of the combobox in vtcl now, great!
(P.S. Could it be that the vtcl-combobox can't be made as small as it used
to be
(that is: without the arrowdisappearing?) No problem though, I changed the
vtcl-combobox with an Itcl-combobox, and all works great now.
