Me too,
I am still using 1.2. I tried 1.5 some time ago and found the
Options-mechanism very useful, but the files contain too much of unused code
(checking for packages I never use etc.). Makes the whole thing less
readable.

I am.
I've installed/used 1.5 but went back to 1.2.2 It's smaller and _way_
faster. It also inserts less of it's own code that has to be stripped
out for a non-gpl'd application.
