Yes, it is a mistake in the README. 8.3.2 is required for running vTcl,
but the projects themselves will run on 8.0.5, provided that you don't use
Tcl/Tk 8.3.2-specific options or commands.

Incorrect README file in version 1.5.2
It says:
"III. REQUIREMENTS
Tcl8.03 and Tk8.03 or newer. You can obtain a binary for most
platforms
from http://www.scriptics.com/. If not, source code is also
available.
Tcl8.3.2 and Tk8.3.2 recommended."
However, when you try to run it with 8.0.5, it gets an error and
then says 8.3 is REQUIRED.
I am limited to using 8.0.5 with the application that I must
interface with, so I am interested in a vtcl that does support 8.0.5 as the
README seems to indicate.
