Which spinint widget ? The one from Iwidgets or the one from Tk 8.4a3 ?

I have been putting together a GUI that makes use of the spinint widget.
The
widgets state is set to normal, but clicking the up down arrows have no
effect on the value displayed in the window.
The step value is set to 1, state is normal, range is set for 1 99999. I
have tried the up own functions provided with vtcl 1.5.2 and replaced them
with my own. Neither seem to have any affect. The one oddity I did notice
is
that if I select the up arrow a few times I sometimes see the default value
of 1 replaced with 11.
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
