Nothing is strange :-)
Ok, to be serious: there is a difference between TEST mode and run the app
stand alone.
In TEST mode, when you click on the close box of a window, it hides it.
In stand alone mode (outside vtcl), when you click on the close box of a
window, it destroys the window.
To change this behavior you need to use the following command (best place
for this is the main function):
wm protocol .top55 WM_DESTROY {Window hide .top55}
so your window does not get destroyed when you click on the close box. To
show the window again
use
Window show .top55

| Subject: [vtcl-user] Strange Error in vtcl
|
|
|
>-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Hi all,
I have a really strnge error in an application developed with vTcl:
All goes fine when I try it in Test mode, but when i run it fro a shell
after I close a window an re-open it I have this message:
invalid comand name ".top55.com75"
It so strange because the first time I open the window no error occurs
but the second time I have it.
Logically the code executed is the same all the time!
Thanks in advance!
