Yes, to deploy BWidgets, just copy the bwidget directory under lib.

The auto_path should work fine the way you wrote it.

Your app directory structure will look like:

myapp.tcl
lib/
      bwidget/
            images/
                  ...
            lang/
                  ...
            ...

      <some other lib>/
            ...

Unless, of course, the requirements for the target machine are so that
BWidgets is already installed (eg. it is included with ActiveTcl 8.3.2 and
beyond).

well I am not for sure what others are doing but I thought I would share
how I am planning on deploying widgets that are included with VTcl.  I
think this method is ok (Not violating any licensing - someone may want to
confirm this )

I copy the libs dir of VTcl (or the critical parts) then I insert the line:

lappend auto_path ./lib

just after the exec wish "$0" "$@"  line.


Again thoughts welcome!
