Hi All, It seems a number of problems have been reported with font options on Linux with vTcl
The typical error message looks like expected integer but got "-" I have asked one user having this problem to issue an "option add" statement for the font option in question with a font value such as "Helvetica 14" and it worked fine. Is it possible that the old font format in the style " -Adobe-Helvetica-Medium-R-Normal-*-*-120-*-*-*-*-*-*" causes problems to Tk ? I wonder how we can get the actual option value from the option database because to get a value from the option database, the widget has to exist first, and here, vTcl fails on widget creation...
