YES, this works much better, thank-you. It seems that all I have to do
now is run vtcl with dpwish (the version of wish with the DP-tcl
libraries linked in) and it all works fine, but I've not had much chance
to try it out as I spent most of the weekend getting DP-tcl to work with
tcl/tk8.0.
There seems to be a bit of a bug around the area of pathnames displayed
in open and save as file selectors. Sometimes the path displayed doesn't
seem to correspond to the files listed.
