Brett,
In short, I am trying to make VTCL as complete as possible as an
integrated development tool. It is still beta quality in that it
lacks more sophisticated editing and project features. It is mostly
stable with the exception of a couple of well known bugs which will
be fixed in the next release (1.09 - due out as soon as I get some
TIX code updates).
There is a wish list about a mile and a half long.
The license does not restrict you from producing and selling commercial
applications and you do not have to pay me if and when you do. The nice
thing about it is that it's a code generator. Even if, heaven forbid,
vtcl goes away, you will still have usable, readable, editable code.
I think this meets you goals.
