vtcl, 1.09 + patches, why the small font in the command window?

When on my SPARC/Solaris 2.5.1/Tcl 8.0a2/Tk 8.0a2 environment bring up
vtcl and its command window, the font is so tiny it's almost impossible
to read.  Any chance that a preference will be added for selecting the
font / size/ etc. for vtcl to use?
