I exchanged a few messages with Stewart on this privately last night
(so as to not flood the list with too much mail ;-)
I came up with another solution that maintains the clean look of the
vTcl
windows. Stewart had the same idea himself. That is to make the menubar
"Window" item have checkbuttons to toggle the windows on and off. This
is quite a common way of handling such windows.
